Luxury Cosmetics for “Her going out tonight” Yves Saint Laurent Couture Clutch Eye shadow Palette ‘The most beautiful makeup of a woman is passion, but cosmetics are easier to buy’ - Yves Saint Laurent Yves Henri Donat Mathieu-Saint-Laurent, also referred to as Yves Saint-Laurent or YSL, was a French fashion designer who, in 1962, founded his eponymous fashion label. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential fashion designers of the twentieth century.
He took a distinct approach to his aesthetic, assisting ladies in gaining confidence by appearing both comfortable and elegant at the same time. He is also credited with the introduction of the "Le Smoking" tuxedo suit for ladies, as well as his utilisation of non-European cultural references and a wide range of models. Saint Laurent was the first living fashion designer to be honoured with a solo exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 1983. He also established a foundation in Paris alongside Bergé to study the history of YSL's residence, which has 15,000 artefacts and 5,000 pieces of clothing. Saint Laurent was named the highest-earning dead celebrity by Forbes in 2009.
