When you enter and close the door, you hear the recognisable door "thunk," which adds a lot of feel-good element. The dash of the Virtus is fitted and finished to a higher standard, and what's even more impressive is that practically everything you touch is made of premium materials. In the cabin, there are plenty of storage areas. The largest boot in its class and a wellsized vented glovebox are included as starters. The Virtus appears to have all the essential attributes that buyers these days are searching for in a modern vehicle. It boasts a sunroof, an 8" virtual cockpit MID, and a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Additionally, it has ambient lighting, ventilated seats, connected car technology, wireless phone charging, rear air conditioning vents, and two USB-C charging ports.
The Virtus drives fairly well-manneredly. At speeds between 100 and 120 km/h, the car feels exceptionally solid and has excellent straight-line stability. In this sedan, long drives should be fairly comfortable. The Virtus won't let you down even when you find some winding roads. Cornering is simple thanks to the front end's lightness. Even when pushing the car hard, there is some body roll, but it is well-controlled and doesn't feel excessive. Both 1.0-liter and 1.5-liter petrol engines are available for the Volkswagen Virtus. The former is paired with a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic transmission and produces 114 horsepower and 178 Nm of torque. With 148 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque, the 1.5-litre petrol engine is a more powerful option. Only a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox is used with the 1.5 motor.
