Final Destination (2000) Alexander Chance Browning, a 17-year-old student at Mount Abraham High School in New York, was on a trip to Paris with his class when he witnessed a horrific premonition that the plane would catch fire in the sky during takeoff and kill all passengers. After his vision, he realizes he has seen the future and tries to evacuate the plane by telling the passengers to get off, which leads to several passengers being left behind, including Tod Waggner, Carter Horton, Clear River, Valerie Lewton, Carter's girlfriend Terry Chaney, and Billy Hitchcock.
After the heavy landing, no one believed Alex's prediction, but fifteen minutes after takeoff, Flight 180 caught fire in the sky, killing all 287 passengers on board. Six months later, Alex, Clear, and Carter travel to Paris to celebrate their survival, believing they have finally cheated Death; however, later after Carter's death, they realize that Death's plan is still in action
